Terms of Service

Last updated October 19, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and NineK Apps LLC ("Carou", "we", "us") for using Carou at app-carou.vercel.app. By creating a login or using Carou, you agree to them. If you use Carou for a company, you agree for that company.

1. What Carou does

Carou makes TikTok photo carousels for brands. It studies carousels that already did well on TikTok, picks the formats that fit your brand and rebuilds them with your product, your photos and your words. You review each carousel, edit it if you want, and post it yourself.

Carou also reads the public numbers of the posts you link (views, likes, comments, shares) and counts taps on your Carou bio link, so you can see what works.

Carou never posts to TikTok for you. If you connect a TikTok account, Carou can send a carousel you pick to that account's TikTok inbox as a draft. You open it in TikTok, add a sound if you like, and decide whether to post it.

2. Your login

  • Carou is invite-only for now: only emails on our list can create a login.
  • You need to be at least 18.
  • Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your login, and you tell us right away if you think someone else got in.
  • One login per person. Teammates get their own login, invited into your workspace.

3. Your content

Your content is what you put into Carou: your brand card (name, website, what you sell, who it's for, how it sounds), the photos you upload, your edits, notes and requests, and the links to your posts.

  • You keep every right to your content.
  • You let us store it, process it and show it to you and your teammates, only to run Carou for you. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
  • You confirm you have the right to use what you upload: your own photos, your brand's product shots, a logo you own. The same goes for the product photos you ask Carou to put into a photo made with AI.

4. The carousels Carou makes

  • The carousels Carou makes for you are yours to post and use.
  • Carou copies how a winning post is built (the slide order, the kind of hook, the pacing), not its photos or its exact words.
  • Some photos come from free photo libraries (Pexels, Unsplash, Openverse) under their own licenses, and Carou shows where each one came from.
  • Some suggested photos come from Pinterest and similar sites, shown as ideas. They belong to their owners and Carou doesn't license them; the editor marks them "From Pinterest". Whether you post one is your decision and your responsibility. If you own a photo Carou suggests and want it out of Carou, email info@ninek.co and we take it out.
  • AI writes some of the text. Read every carousel before you post it: it can get a fact wrong.
  • You're responsible for what you post: that it's true, follows TikTok's Community Guidelines and branded content rules, and says when a post is an ad or a paid partnership where the law asks for it.

5. Photos made with AI

  • Recreate with AI makes a new photo from a description Carou writes of a reference photo (often one from Pinterest), plus one of your product photos if you choose. The reference photo itself isn't sent to the AI that makes the new one, and it doesn't copy faces or logos from it.
  • You can use the photos you make for your posts, as far as the law and the AI provider's terms (OpenAI) allow. Carou claims no rights in them.
  • Photos made with AI aren't one of a kind: someone else can get a similar one, and Carou can't promise a made photo doesn't look like someone else's work. Look at each one before you post it.
  • Don't use it to make a real person's face or likeness, another brand's logo or product passed off as yours, pictures of minors, sexual content, or anything that misleads, like fake reviews or fake before and after results. The AI can refuse a request.
  • TikTok asks creators to label realistic pictures made with AI. When you post, follow TikTok's rules for AI-generated content.

6. TikTok

  • Carou isn't made, endorsed or sponsored by TikTok. TikTok is a trademark of its owner.
  • To connect a TikTok account, you sign in on TikTok's own page and choose what to allow. Carou asks only for your basic profile (name and picture) and permission to send drafts to your inbox. It can't post for you, read your messages or change your account.
  • You can disconnect at any time in Carou's Settings, or in the TikTok app where you manage connected apps.
  • Your use of TikTok follows TikTok's own terms.

7. What you can't do

  • Use Carou to break the law or anyone's rights, like copyright, trademark or privacy.
  • Make content that's hateful, sexual, violent or deceptive, or that targets a person.
  • Make spam or fake engagement, or pose as a person or brand you don't represent.
  • Try to get into other workspaces, scrape Carou, overload it or get around its limits.
  • Resell Carou, or give access to anyone outside your team.

8. Price

Carou is free while it's invite-only. If we start charging, we'll tell you the price first, and nothing gets charged without your agreement.

9. Services Carou relies on

Carou runs on other companies' services (listed in our Privacy Policy) and reads public TikTok pages. If one of them changes or stops, a Carou feature may change or stop too.

10. Ending

  • You can stop using Carou and ask us to delete your account at any time: email info@ninek.co.
  • We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or close Carou altogether. Unless it's a serious breach, we'll tell you first and give you 30 days to save your carousels.

11. No guarantees

Carou picks formats that did well for others, but we can't promise any number of views, followers or sales. Carou is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows.

12. Liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, lost profits, lost data or lost reach, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or 100 US dollars. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in Carou or by email before it applies. Using Carou after that means you accept the new terms.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and disputes go to the state and federal courts in Albany County, New York, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go to your own courts.

15. Contact
